I have been teaching violin professionally since 1989 and I hold a degree in Violin Performance from the Brigham Young University School of Music. I am a trained Suzuki violin teacher registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. I base my teaching on the Suzuki classical repertoire, and also supplement with other styles and material, depending on the student's needs and interests. I teach students ages four to adult. All levels and abilities are welcome. I strive to create a studio environment that is supportive and nurturing. I believe music and violin lessons should be fun and interesting while helping each student reach his or her full potential.
I am a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the American String Teacher Association. I am also a member of the Loma Linda Cultural Arts Association.

“Don’t only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the Divine.”
"The main concern for parents should be to bring up their children as noble human beings. That is sufficient. If this is not their greatest hope, in the end the child may take a road contrary to their expectations. Children can play very well. We must try to make them splendid in mind and heart also.....
"Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens, noble human beings. If a child hears fine music from the day of his birth, and learns to play it himself, he develops sensitivity, discipline and endurance. He gets a beautiful heart."
